Coffey Sanford, Jan 11.--Wade Hampton Coffey, 72, died Monday following a heart attack at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Coffey, his son and daughter-in-law. Coffey was a native of Morganton. He was a member of the Masonic Order and was a Shriner. Surviving are a son, D. G. Coffey of Sanford; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Coffey Johnson of Durham; a sister, Mrs. Alex Loudermilk of Morganton and four grandchildren. Funeral will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Coffey at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Southern Pines. Wade Hampton Coffey and Katie A.
