Artlissa was the niece of John Hinshaw, husband of Nancy Coffey. Nancy and Susan were sisters.

Stalsworth (Shug) - 81 of New Market, passsed away Monday evening at Milligan Clinic after a long illness. He was a member of the New Corinth Baptist Church and a retired farmer from the Indian Ridge Community in Grainger County. Survived by wife, Mrs. Jessie Haworth Stalsworth, of New Market; son, Jack, of Blountville, Tenn.; granddaughter Mrs. Glenn Houser, Richland, Va; grandson, Jim Stalsworth of Crossville; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Grover and Henry Stalsworth; both of Blaine; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services, 3:30 p.m. Thursday from Fielden's chapel. Revs. J.M. Witt and Chester Cochran officiating. Interment Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Arthur Corum, Lefford Howard, Max Stiner, Charles Stiner, Thomas French, Willis Denton. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. (Osa) Livingston of California, Mrs. Curtis (Sylvia) Crawford of Knoxville, Mrs. Greer (Ruby) Busler, Miss Jennie Bell Stalsworth, both of Blaine, Mrs. Harvey (Barbara) Rasnake of Knoxville; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Mrs. David (Bonnie) Dixon; several nieces and nephew. Funeral 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Richland Baptist Church, Rev. Kenny Armstrong, Rev. Steve Hill officiating. The body will be taken to the church at 2 p.m. to lie in state.
