Charles Ellis Everitt, 74, died at his home at Love at 12:40 a.m. today.

Born in Nelson County on Aug. 8, 1885, he was a son of the late Elias and Martha D. Everitt. He was a member of the Mt. Top Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Etta Everitt; two brothers, Gordon Everitt and Henry Everitt, both of Lyndhurst; and one sister, Mrs. Estie Coffey, Lyndhurst.

Body will remain at the McDow-Tyree Funeral Home until 2 p.m. Sunday when it will be placed in the Mt. Top Christian Church. Funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. P. H. Coffey. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Forest Coffey, John Coffey, Jake Hewitt, Saylor Coffey, Eugene Everitt and Ray Everitt.

Flowerbearers will be Lucy Everitt, Annie Coffey, Betty Sensabaugh, Ruby Coffey, Madeline Hewitt and Louise Campbell.

Mrs. Mary Etta Everitt, 81, of Lyndhurst, died in Waynesboro Community Hospital this morning at 12:15.

She was born in Nelson County on April 26, 1885, a daughter of the late Floyd L. and Mary Weaver Coffey. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ellis Everitt.
She is survived by one brother, Zandy E. Coffey of Lyndhurst and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Mountain Top Christian Church at Love.

The body will remain at McDow-Tyree Funeral Home pending arrangements.

A funeral service for Mrs. Mary Etta Everitt will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Top Christian Church at Love to be conducted by the Rev. Robert P. Ponchot.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The body will be place in the church at 1 p.m.

Active pallbearers will be Eugene Everitt, Shelly Everitt, Saylor Coffey, Saylor Coffey Jr., Forest Coffey and Jake Hewitt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Demastus, Willima Demastus, Houston Coffey, Hugh Coffey, John Coffey and Ralph Hewitt.

The family will receive friends at the McDow-Tyree Funeral Home at 1701 W. Main St. tonight from 7 to 8 o'clock.

Members of the family, friends and pallbearers are asked to meet at the church for the service.
