Burial was at Sammy New Cemetery. He was born at Wolf Creek, Kentucky on March 14, 1934 the son of the late Garner and Monnie New Coffey. He was a Custodian for McCreary County Schools and member of Wolf Ridge United Baptist Church. His parents, and the following sisters Imolene Hill; Sue Evelyn Watters; and Connie Cooke, precedes him in death. Survivors include his daughters, Judy Keith and husband Jeff; Lannie Branscum and husband James; Stearns, Kentucky; Sylvia Love, Smith Grove, Kentucky; Donna Cox, Strawberry Plains, Tennessee. A brother Curtis Coffey, Anderson, Indiana and a sister Hilda Jones, Sidney, Ohio also survives. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements. |
