8547. Rebecca Malinda Coffey was born on 6 February 1883 in Flat Rock, McCreary Co., KY. Rebecca died on 17 February 1964 at the age of 81 in Revelo, McCreary Co., KY and was buried at Angel Cemetery in Stearns, McCreary Co., KY on 19 February 1964.²⁶⁶⁸⁶

Rebecca Melinda Coffey Ledbetter,91 died Feb 17,1964 at her Revelo home. Mrs Ledbetter was born February 6, 1883, at Flat Rock and was the daughter of Gene Shelvie [sic] [James Shelby] Coffey and Melvina Holloway Coffey. She spent all of her life in and around the area where she was born. She was member of the old William Siding Christian Church. She was the widow of the late John Ledbetter.

Surviving are six sons and one daughter. Luther Ledbetter, [sic] Strunk; William and Everett Ledbetter, Winston Oregon; Dillard Ledbetter, Dillard, Oregon; Cecil Ledbetter, Hill Top; Kenneth Ledbetter, New Jersey and Mrs Henley Waters, City. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs Martha Mason and Mrs Nannie Strunk, Wiborg, a brother John Coffey, Wiborg, fifty-eight grandchildren and sixty- three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the home Wednesday, Feb 19, at 2 p.m. with Rev, Levi Cox and Rev.E. L. Freeman officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Dallas, Bobby, David, Jimmie and Goldman Watters and Lowell Ledbetter.

Rebecca Malinda Coffey and John Clark Ledbetter were married on 22 October 1904 in Pulaski Co., KY.²⁶⁶⁸⁷ John Clark Ledbetter was born on 9 January 1885 in Fentress Co., TN. John died at Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Campbell Co., TN on 7 May 1947 of a coronary occlusion and was buried at Wright Cemetery in Whitley City, McCreary Co., KY on 10 May 1947 .^{26688,26689,26690}
