Olive (Hanson) Jones Coffey, 91, of Terre Haute, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away 7:22 a.m. Saturday July 14, 2007 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

Born July 16, 1915 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Carl and Tona (Bough) Hanson.

She was an inspector for RCA in Bloomington retiring in 1976 after 26 years of service. She was a member of the Owensburg Baptist Church, attended the Bloomfield Nazarene Church, Order of Eastern Star in Solserry, and the Wednesday Reading Club in Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include: one son, Jim and wife Joyce Jones of Terre Haute; one grandson, Tom Jones of Indianapolis; one granddaughter, Jill Hunter and her Fiance' Dean Wigand of Jasper; six great, grandchildren, Tyler Hunter, Britni Hunter, Jordan Hunter, Tanner Hunter, Kyle Jones, and Quinn Jones; one sister-in-law, Grace Hanson of Greencastle; three stepsons, David Coffey of Florida, Robert Coffey of Switz City, and Mike Coffey of Mitchell; one stepdaughter, Marilyn Flick of French Lick; and several step grandchildren and great, grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Dareld "Mutt" Jones in 1968; her second husband, Gentry Coffey in 1993; one brother, Gerald Hanson; one stepson, Fred Coffey; and two stepdaughters, Betty Hanson and Kathy Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will be in Owensburg Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one-hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Coffey and Louise Haley were married on 25 December 1928 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., IN.³⁷⁴⁹⁷ They³⁷⁴⁹⁷ appeared in the census on 23 April 1930 in Washington Twp., Morgan Co., IN.³⁷⁴⁹⁸ Louise Haley, daughter of Thomas Haley and Hattie L. Poe, was born on 5 July 1907 in Harrison Co., IN. Louise died in Springville, Lawrence Co., IN in January 1970.³⁷⁴⁹⁹
