He was a veteran of World War I, a member of Barracks 2109, American Legion, Modern Woodmen of America, and Woodmen of the World. He is survived by the widow; brothers, Clarence, and John, both of Whittier, Calif., and Ernest, Great Bend; one sister Mrs. Albert Ardery, Copeland. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bryant and Fryberger Mortuary with the Rev. Emerson Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be conducted by the World War I Barracks.
