Opal H. Adams, 90, Independence, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, at Jefferson Health Care in Lee's Summit.

She was born Aug. 1, 1913, in Camden, Colo., to Fred A. and Della V. Palmer Green. She married Herman O. Adams, who preceded her in death.

Her survivors include a nephew, Gerald Hukill, Independence; two nieces, Judy Reynolds and Joyce Stallman, Independence; a sister, Vernie Crawford, Independence; a cousin, Dona Russell, Independence; and many great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Mount Washington Forever Cemetery.
