988. Seralda Wright was born on 24 May 1828 in Kentucky. Seralda died on 9 November 1879 at the age of 51 in Macon Co., MO and was buried at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery in Anabel, Macon Co., MO in November 1879.⁴⁰⁶⁶

Seralda Wright and Mark White were married circa 1849 in Macon Co., MO. Mark White was born on 12 November 1825 in Howard Co., MO. Mark died on 7 December 1896 at the age of 71 in Macon Co., MO and was buried at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery in Anabel, Macon Co., MO.⁴⁰⁶⁷

Mark White died at his home in Ten Mile township at 2 o'clock Monday morning, December 7th. 1896, after a severe illness of about one week caused by an abscess on the lungs. 

The deceased was born in Howard County, MO November 12th., 1825, and hence was 74 [sic] [71] years of age at his death. Howard County was very primitive and inhabited by Indians at the time of his birth and he was born in a fort erected as a protection from the savages. 

He came to Macon Co., in 1849 and soon after was married to Miss Serelda Wright. Six children of this marriage are now living viz: W. C. and Douglas White, of Ten Mile; Ben F. at present deputy collector; Mrs. John B. Richardson and Mrs. J. W. Gates of Ten Mile; and Mrs. J. A. Banta of Round Grove Township. 

In 1880 the deceased was married again to Hattie J. Dixon; one son and one daughter survive of this union. 

Mrs. J. M. Wright of Callao and Mrs. James Gilstrap are sisters of the deceased. Two other sisters reside in Pueblo, Colorado and one sister in Iowa. 

The deceased has been a member of the Christian Church for forty years.
