She was born Oct. 22, 1939, in Stuarts Draft, daughter of the late Alfred and Tressia Fretwell Coffey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Scottie Coffey, and sister, AnniaBelle Latsko. Survivors include her husband, Larry L. Hepler; two brothers, Grover and Dotty Coffey of Stuarts Draft and Billy Coffey and sister-in-law, Renee Coffey, of Waynesboro;and sisters, Becky and Wayne Stump of Greenville, Julia Losh of Stuarts Draft and Joyce and Tommy Fretwell of Stuarts Draft. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Charles E. Carroll officiating and Gary Armstrong assisting. Burial will follow at Rankin United Methodist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Josh Coffey, Steve Losh, Terry and Mark Stump, Dale Fauber, Brian Shifflett, Jim Tierney and Nick Coffey.
