He was born in Nelson County July 17, 1905, a son of the late Mayo and Sallie Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald was a member of White Rock Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Phillips Fitzgerald; three sons, Earl Phillips Fitzgerald, Lynwood H. Fitzgerald and Henry C. Fitzgerald, all of Montebello; three daughters, Mrs. Richard Straw, of Lancaster, Germany, Mrs. Daniel Fitzgerald of Buena Vista, and Mrs. Donald Piel of Alexandria; one brother, Arthur Fitzgerald of Stuarts Draft; three sisters, Miss Carrie Fitzgerald and Miss Vennie Fitzgerald, both Sherando, and Mrs. Wavy Taylor of Staunton; and fifteen grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Haines Chapel in Montebello, conducted by the Rev. B. M. Sheppard. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Preston Parr Funeral Home at Roseland is in charge of funeral arrangements. Isaac Harrison Fitzgerald and Sally F. were married circa 1928 in Virginia.
