Hatter; five sons, Saylor Austin Hatter of Stuarts Draft, Alton Thomas Hatter and Jerry Hatter of Faber, Wilbert Hatter of Roseland, Page Hatter of Lubbock, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Johnny (Charlene) Lowery of Stuarts Draft, Mrs. Weldon (Leona) Wimer of Waynesboro, Mrs. Ray (Shirley) Varney and Mrs. Edward (Sarah Jane) Ubanski, both of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Ray (Frances) Petree of Charlottesville; two brothers, Emmett Coffey of Alexandria and David Coffey of Faber; 20 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Etter Funeral Home chapel, conducted by Roger Powell minister, and the Rev. Roy Kiser. Burial will be in Fellowship Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Greenfield. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Etter Funeral Home. Pearl M. Coffey and Saylor Franklin Hatter were married. Saylor Franklin Hatter was born on 22 August 1909 in Augusta Co., VA. Saylor died in Virginia on 5 May 1982. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Pearl May Coffey Hatter. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Etter Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Edmund R. Southers, with interment in the Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
