Betty was a daughter of the late Brent and Rachel Campbell Coffey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Huffman in 2001; also her little brother, Glenwood Coffey; and good friends, Paco and Bonnie Jerman. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Huffman and Mary; daughters, Marie Hughes and Greg, Debra Wimer and James, all of Cremora, Vickie McFadden and Steve of Buckingham, and Teresa Hughes and Tom of Faber; a sister, Mildred Coffey of Afton; several nieces and nephews, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston with the Reverend Whitney Crizer officiating with Interment at the Oak Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be, Christopher and Phillip Huffman, Jimmy Showers, Steven and Joshua McFadden and Lee David. Betty Coffey and Jesse Lewis Huffman Sr. were married.
