William Edmondson Coffey and Laura Frances Igou were married. Laura Frances Igou, daughter of Fred Igou and Ruby Chisolm, was born on 7 June 1920 in Henagar, DeKalb Co., AL. Laura died at Cherokee Baptist Medical Center in Centre, Cherokee Co., AL on 13 January 2001 and was buried at Coffey Family Cemetery in Cedar Bluff, Cherokee Co., AL on 15 January 2001 .27100

LEESBURG - Services for Laura Frances Igou Coffey, 80, of Leesburg, will be today at 11 a.m. at Coffey Family Cemetery with Rev. Scott Hosey officiating.

Mrs. Coffey died Saturday at Cherokee Baptist Medical Center.

Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Jane Hindman of Douglasville, Ga., and Lillian Frances Crow of Cedar Bluff; a son-in-law, Greg Hindman; and three grandsons, John and Fred Crow, and Bill Hindman.

Mrs. Coffey was a native of Henagar, and the daughter of the late Fred and Ruby Chisolm Igou. She was a retired circuit court register, and a former member of the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, where she was a director, secretary and treasurer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cherokee Baptist Medical Center.
