Ruby Jean Winebarger, age 68, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care-Lenoir.  She was born August 30, 1949 in Watauga County to the late John W. and Helen Marie Townsend Coffey.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister.
Mrs. Winebarger was a sweet, loveable wife, and was retired from Broyhill Furniture.  She really trusted the Lord and was a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, J.D. Winebarger of Lenoir; two sons, Jamie Winebarger and wife Jennifer of Statesville, and Jerry Auton and wife Ann of GA; three daughters, Catina Anderson and husband Brad of Lenoir, Jeanie Pearson and husband Jerry of Blowing Rock, and Janice Woodard of Zionsville; five brothers, Howard Coffey and wife Brenda of Ashe County, Jessie Coffey of Lenoir, Lonnie Coffey and wife Linda of TN, Dan Coffey and wife Edith, and Harley Coffey and wife Laura, all of Ahoe; one sister, Bonnie Teague of Ahoe; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Bob Pritchard.  Interment will immediately follow at the Coffey Family Cemetery in Banner Elk.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 Noon one hour prior to the service at the church.
