She was born on April 10, 1919, in the Love area, a daughter of the late Eliza Coffey and Rufus N. Campbell. She was a full-time homemaker who had worked at Morton Frozen Foods for twenty-seven years. She will be greatly missed by everyone including her five children, Shirley Mae Tyree and her husband, Sam, Dorothy N. Thompson and her late husband, George, James Rufus Campbell and his wife, Freda, Margaret Ann Taylor and her husband, Kenneth, and Douglas Lee Campbell and his wife, Beckie; sisters, Barbara Keller and Vivian Birk both of Pennsylvania; one sister-in-law, Barbara Sprouse Campbell; a daughter-in-law, Barbara S. Campbell; eighteen grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Maryland Campbell in 1986; her brother, Herman; and sisters, Hazel, Juanita, Rachel and Evelyn. A special thanks to Dr. McCarter and the staff at Stoney Creek Medical Center. A graveside service was conducted May 16 at Beech Grove Cemetery by Mr. Robert Mansfield.
