Letha Mae (Coffey) Payne - May 19, 1920 ~ February 8, 2012

Letha went quietly to her Lord and Savior, with her daughter and son by her side, on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Letha was born on May 19, 1920, to Joseph and Neat Coffey. Letha's sister, Ruth, then joined the family and later baby, Dolly, who died shortly before Letha's mother's death. Joseph took his two small daughters to live with his sister and family and that is where Letha and Ruth made their home. Letha met and married the love of her life, Glenn Payne, and they were married 52 years at the time of his death. Letha's loves were her children and grandchildren. They were her joy and her life. She loved to crochet doilies and afghans for her family. She also loved her flower garden and always had wonderful meals gleaned from her large garden.

Letha was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; grandsons, Michael and Timothy Farmer and Kevin Million; and granddaughter, Cassandra Miller. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Skelton; her children, Glenn and Carol Payne of Omak and Connie and John Nelson of Wenatchee, their six children and spouses and ten grandchildren, as well as five great-grandchildren.
