She was a member of Mountain Top Christian Church. Mrs. Coffey was born May 18, 1886, in Love, a daughter of the late Elias and Martha Ann Demastus Everitt. Survivors include her husband, Zandy E. Coffey; one brother, Henry M. Everitt of Lyndhurst; and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home until noon Tuesday, when it will be taken to the Mountain Top Christian Church at Love for funeral services at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Pettit Coffey of Louis, assisted by the Rev. Danny Beard. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Shelby Everitt, Ray Everitt, Jake Hewitt, Saylor Coffey Sr., Saylor Coffey Jr. and Forest Coffey. Flowerbearers will be members of her Sunday School class. Everitt, at 5:40 p.m. Saturday. Born July 27, 1886, in Love, Mr. Coffey was a son of the late Floyd L. and Mary Weaver Coffey. He was a member and elder of Mountain Top Christian Church and was a retired farmer, having spent his entire life in the Love area. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was the last member of his immediate family. Active pallbearers will be Ray Everitt, Forest Coffey, Saylor Coffey, Junior Coffey, John Coffey and Houston Coffey. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Everitt, Ronnie Everitt and Paul Everitt. The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends form 7 to 8 tonight. |
