Shirley Coffey Walker, age 78, of Lenoir, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care-Lenoir.  She was born January 21, 1940 in Caldwell County to the late Charles and Virginia Pearl Kirby Coffey.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bradley Walker; brother, Michael Coffey; and sister, Linda Gough.

Mrs. Walker was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherri Austin of Murrells Inlet, S.C., and Susan Woodie of Lenoir; three brothers, Floyd Coffey, Jerry Coffey, and Bill Coffey, all of Lenoir; one sister, Betty Pennell of Lenoir; and two grandchildren, Bobby Huffman, and Bradley Woodie.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. at Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Gary Waters.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, N.C. 28645.

Bradley Wilburn Walker, 69, of Blue Creek Road, Lenoir, died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care.

He was born December 9, 1939 in Caldwell County to Mrs. Daisy Kirby Walker of Lenoir and the late Clarence Walker.

Mr. Walker was retired from Broyhill Furniture and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife Mrs. Shirley Coffey Walker of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Sherri Austin and husband Chris of High Point and Mrs. Susan Woodie and husband Garry of Lenoir; one sister, Mrs. Brenda Woods and husband Gene; two grandchildren, Bobby Huffman and Bradley Woodie; and special Aunt June Turner of Lenoir, whom he loved very much.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. at Blue Creek Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Sonny Younce.
