Sarah resided with her son Wallace in Ellis Co., TX on 27 June 1900. Sarah died in Texas on 10 February 1902 and was buried at Bells Chapel Cemetery in Pecan Hill, Ellis Co., TX in February 1902 .²⁰³⁸
