Thomas died in Grainger Co., TN on 3 January 1925 and was buried at Condry Cemetery in Thorn Hill, Grainger Co., TN in January 1925 .

This may be the Thomas Coffey found in the 1920 Grainger Co. census residing next door to George and Martha M. Coffey, and Jake O, and wife Levey Coffey.
