Mr. Jay C. Suddreth, 71, of 415 Trails End Rd., formerly of Charlotte died July 28, 1992, at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral is 3 p.m. Thursday at Webbs Chapel United Methodist Church in Lincoln County, where he was a member. Burial is in the church cemetery with Masonic rites. Visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight at McEwen Funeral Home Charlotte Chapel in Charlotte.

Mr. Suddreth, co-owner of Suddreth Electronic Supply, was born in Lenoir, son of the late Horace and Mattie Coffey. He was a member of West Gate Masonic Lodge 738, Scottish Rite Bodies, Oasis Temple and Denver Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of the adult Sunday School class at his church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Suddreth; sons, Steve Suddreth, Andy
Suddreth, both of Lowesville; brother, Ray Suddreth of Charlotte; sister, Mrs. Letha Allen of Lenoir; two grandchildren.

Jay Coffey Suddreth and Mildred F. Foushee were married on 28 August 1948 in Lake Co., IN.³²²³³ Mildred F. Foushee was born on 25 November 1927 in North Carolina. Mildred died in North Carolina on 4 June 1998 and was buried at Webb's Chapel UMC Cemetery in Denver, Lincoln Co., NC in June 1998 .³²²³⁴
