She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Eugene Woods, and Atwell Hewitt.Mildred was an excellent cook, enjoyed flowers, and had quite a green thumb for plants inside and outside. She was retired from General Electric Co., Waynesboro.Surviving are her five children, Lowell Hewitt of Lovingston, Wayne Hewitt (Becky) of Chesterfield, Judy Kite (Wayne), and Bruce Hewitt (Lili), all of Waynesboro, and Marlin Hewitt (Theresa) of Deerfield; and grandchildren, Randy Hewitt, Mike Hewitt (Rie), Bert Hewitt, Jake Hewitt (Lori), Zac Hewitt (Libby), Pamela Guthridge (Thilo), Corey Kite (Sarah), Kimberly Shifflett (Alden), Jason Hewitt (Wendy), Justin Hewitt (Martha), Nicholas Hewitt, Tish Branch, Tina Hewitt, Luke Hewitt (Leslie), Kelly Henderson (Josh), Scott Thompson (Tammy), Shanon Stratton, and Shelly Blackwell (Ross).
