Esther Coffey Bailey, a Beautiful and Loving Wife and Mother, went to be with her Lord & Savior, whom she devoted her life to, Saturday, January 18, 2014.

She was a native of Madison County, having lived most her life in Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late Posey Jerome and Elizabeth Griffin Coffey. She is also preceded in death by three brothers, Anderson, Floyd & Carroll Coffey; a grandson, Ryan Cauble; and a daughter-in-law, Julia Bailey.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Jack C. Bailey; two daughters, Patricia Banks (Doug), Donna Kay Bailey Cauble and boyfriend Morris Frisby; two sons, Rick Bailey and fiancé Debbie and Keith Bailey (Vickie); sister Meredith Wilburn; brother Leonard Coffey; grandchildren, Katherine Capps (Tim), Jeff Bailey (Sarah) and Zack Bailey, Christopher and Brendon Banks and Kayla Bustle (Michael); and two great-granddaughters, Ella and Anna Capps; several half-sisters and half-brothers; a special nephew J.L. Hatton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm Tuesday, January 21, at Little Ivy Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Revs' Scott Dotson and Keith Watkins will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
