Norman G. Wells, 87, Klamath Falls, died Dec. 22, 1993, in Merle West Medical Center in Klamath Falls after a brief illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, with Pastors, Bill Schwartz and Bob Freeman officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Monday at Davenport;s Chapel of the Good Shepherd.

Mr. Wells was born June 9, 1906, in May, Idaho, to Uriah Wells and the former Lucy Kilpatrick.

He married Ollie L. Thompson April 14, 1935 in Harrison, Ark.

Mr. Wells was a Klamath Falls resident for the past 43 years.

He retired from J. W. Kerns as its irrigation engineer specialist in 1971.

Mr. Wells loved the outdoors and gardening.

He was active in the Suburban Heights Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife; daughters, Lucille Phillips, Carson City, Nev., and Elizabeth "Betty" Thomas, Colton, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Lovenia Peterson, Lakeview; and man brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
