Whittier Blvd., Whittier, Los Angeles Co., CA in La Harbra, Orange Co., CA on 16 August 1955 arterioscleratic heart disease and was buried at Green Hill Cemetery in Davis, Murray Co., OK on 21 August 1955 .²⁵⁶⁵⁰

Funeral Services For Former Davis Man Sunday

Funeral services for Walter Curtis Coffey, age 68, who passed away in La Harbra, Cal. August 15, 1955 will be held at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church with Rev. Chas. E. Hoole officiating.

Mr. Coffey died of a heart attack, while on his way home from work. He was born in Denton County, Texas Nov. 21, 1887, spending his early life around Roff. He lived in Davis for 25 years before going to California, where he had been the past 9 years. He was a member of the Methodist church of Davis. Also a member of the Tyre Lodge No. 42. Survivors besides his wife, Mrs. Clara Coffey, include 2 sons, Harold E. of Whittier, Calif. And Albert C. of Davis; 3 daughters, Mrs. Roy West of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Eddie Werda of Norwalk, Calif. And Mrs. Al Crappo of La Harbra and 9 grandchildren.

Interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery with Bahner Funeral Home in charge.

There will be Masonic services at the graveside.

Walter is said to have married Lydia Fulfer Dollarhide, the widow of Samuel Dollarhide some time in the early 1950's. He died in 1955. Lydia's obituary names her as the "loving mother of the late Albert Coffey." Albert was the fourth child of Walter and his wife Clara. Upon Walter's death he was returned to OK and buried with Clara while Lydia was buried in OK with her first husband Samuel. The question remains, did Walter and Clara divorce?

Walter Curtis Coffey and Lydia "Liddie" Fulfer were married on 11 May 1905 in Carter Co., OK.²⁵⁶⁵¹ Lydia "Liddie" Fulfer was born on 14 April 1889 in Brownwood, Brown Co., TX. Lydia died in San Joaquin Co., CA on 14 June 1970 and was buried at Garden of Memories in Hatch, Dona Ana Co., NM on 16 June 1970 .^25652,25653

June 12, 1970, Liddie Dollarhide, beloved wife of the late Samuel E. Dollarhide; loving mother of the late Albert Coffey, Neta McKinney of Yakima, Wash., Doris McClure of Dinuba, Calif., Shad Dollarhide of Modesto, Rance Dollarhide of Stockton, Grady Dollarhide of Lamont, Calif., and the late Frank Dollarhide; loving sister of Sally Johnson of Visalia and Becky of Brownwood, Tex., aged 81 years.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services at DeYoung Memorial Chapel 601N. California St., Tuesday, June 16, 1970 at 1 p.m. Committal at Hatch Municipal Cemetery, Hatch, N.M.

COFFEY, Clara V. Age 92. Born December 6, 1890 at Hartshorne, OK. Passed away Friday at a Moore Nursing Home. She was formerly of Davis. Services 2 p.m. Wednesday at The First Baptist Church in Davis with Rev. Jim House officiating. Burial in Green Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include 3 daughters Mrs. Pearl West of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Louise Werda of Rialto, CA, Mrs. Wanda Crapo of Roseburg, Ore, 2 sons Harold E. Coffey of LaHambra, CA, Albert C. Coffey of Davis, OK, 6 sisters; Mrs. Mary Harris of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Pearl Harris of Wichita Falls, TX, Mrs. Allie Baxter of Wynnewood, OK, Mrs. Bertha (Coffey) West of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Katie Harmon of Davis, Mrs. Josie Cryer of Oklahoma City, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren & several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter C. Coffey in 1955. Also preceded in death by a son & daughter & 4 brothers. Services under the direction of Bahner-Fox Funeral Home of Davis.
