San Francisco Chronicle (CA) — Monday, February 25, 1985 Memorial services will be held Wednesday for Ivy Jerome (Jerry) Coffey Jr., a Bay Area bank executive who died Saturday at his San Francisco home after a heart attack. He was 48 years old. Mr. Coffey was manager of Financial Center Bank in San Mateo. Before his San Mateo appointment, he held banking positions with Crocker National Bank, Toronto Dominion Bank of California and Commercial Bank of San Francisco. He was a member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and served on the advisory committee of Golden Gate University's master of business administration program. Mr. Coffey, a native of Oklahoma, was a 1958 graduate of Fort Hays College in Kansas. He served as an Army intelligence officer, stationed at the Presidio of San Francisco, from 1959 to 1963. He is survived by his mother, Dorothea Hult, and stepfather, Harold Hult, both of Topeka, Kan., and two sisters, Sharron Hagen of New Mexico and Karen Taster of Kansas. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary the Virgin Episcopal Church at Union and Steiner Streets.
