Estie Loretta Coffey Smith, age 74, of Cottrell Hill Road, Lenoir, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. She was born May 6, 1940 in Avery County to the late Lester D. and Grace Bennett Coffey.

Mrs. Smith was retired from Broyhill Furniture and was a member of Zacks Fork Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tallie J. Smith of the home; two sons, Jerry D. Smith of Lenoir and Wayne Smith and wife Effie of Granite Falls; two daughters, Sharon S. Clonch and husband Robert and Regina S. Childress, both of Lenoir; three brothers, Don O. Coffey, Sr. and wife Sandi of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Lloyd E. Coffey of Taylorsville and Benny Coffey and wife Teena of Gamewell; grandchildren, Angela G. Snyder, Janet L. Duncan, Ryan Smith, Kristie Townsend, Cregg Clonch, Amy Brown, Chasity Smith, Dustin Smith, Annie Grace Childress, Cady Childress; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Zacks Fork Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Chad Baldwin and Rev. Ronnie Watson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the service at the church.

Tallie resided with his parents in Hudson Twp., Caldwell Co., NC on 21 April 1940. Tallie died in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC on 18 September 2016 and was buried at Zacks Fork Baptist Church in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC in September 2016 .^46031,46032

Tallie Junior Smith, 79, of Lenoir died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at Gateway Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Lenoir. He was born May 11, 1937, in Caldwell County to the late Millard V. and Annie Bumgarner Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Estie Loretta Cof fey Smith.

Mr. Smith was retired from maintenance at Broyhill Furniture Industries and was a member of Zacks Fork Baptist Church.

Sur vivors include two sons, Jerry D. Smith of Lenoir, and Wayne Smith and wife Effie of Granite Falls; three daughters, Sharon S. Clonch and husband Robert, Regina S. Childress, and Amanda Greer and husband Mike, all of Lenoir; a brother, Haywood Smith of Lenoir; three sisters, Geraldine Kaylor and Racheal Cook of Hudson and Wanda Shivers of Lenoir; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral ser vices will be held Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at 4 p.m. at Zacks Fork Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Chad Baldwin and the Rev. Ronnie Watson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. one hour prior to the ser vice at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
