Pvt. Earl Clay Coffey, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burton Coffey, of Brookford, was killed in Italy on July 1. He had been overseas only since the first of June. His wife is the former Miss Leona Mitchell, of Brookford. A brother, Pfc. Edd F. Coffey, is serving in the South Pacific. A living couple was married. Living (private).
