Orville W. Bratton, 89, of Abilene, formerly of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 5400 S. Bell St. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

William Henry "Preacher Bill" Bratton was born on 27 October 1946 in Potter Co., TX. William died in Monroe, Union Co., NC on 15 September 1993 and was buried at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, Union Co., NC in September 1993 .⁴⁷⁵³¹

Service was held at Sunset Park Baptist Church on Saturday, September 18, 1993 at 3:00 p.m. Dr. Mickey Bonner and Rev. Sam Nadler conducted the service. The interment was at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, North Carolina. Rev. Brad Davis and Rev. Robbie Hinson conducted the services. Pallbearers were David Brooks, Freddie Kirk, Russel Rorie, Robert Wiggins, Tim Broom, Albert Mills, Johnny Stevens and Eric Yarbrorough. Honorary Pallbearers were the ministers of Union county.
