Henry C. Cullom Struck By Automobile. Henry C. Cullom, brother of Senator Shelby M. Cullom, was struck by an automobile on Friday, May 10, in Hayward, Cal., and hurled twenty feet into a pile of rock, sustaining injuries which may prove fatal. The car was going at full speed at the time it struck Mr. Cullom, but the identity of the car or of the driver have not been ascertained. Mr. Cullom was removed to the office of a physician and his injuries were cared for. Internal injuries are feared. Henry C. Cullom is a retired real estate broker of Berkeley, Cal. His wife died there about four months ago and the remains were brought back to Joliet, their former home, for .interment. Henry died in Peoria, Peoria Co., IL on 16 March 1909 and was buried at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria, Peoria Co., IL on 18 March 1909 .4340 Henry Clay Cullom and Anna M. Kingman were married on 29 October 1861 in Tazewell Co., IL.4341 Anna M. Kingman, daughter of Freeman H, Kingman, was born on 16 May 1842. Anna died in Berkeley, Alameda Co., CA on 8 January 1907 and was buried at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria, Peoria Co., IL in January 1907 .4342,4343 Death Notice, The Daily Illinois State Journal, Springfield, IL, Jan. 9, 1907, Page 3 Mrs. H. C. Cullom Dead Sister-in-Law of Senator Shelby M. Cullom Expires at Home of Daughter In Peoria Mrs. Henry C. Cullom, formerly of Springfield, but who has been residing in California for a number of years, died at the home of her daughter, Mr. G. H. Schimpff [sic] in Peoria yesterday morning. Her death was due to heard trouble from which she had suffered for several months. The fatal affliction was first noticed immediately after the San Francisco earthquake, Mrs. Cullom and her husband, a brother of Senator Shelby M. Cullom, being residents of that city at that time. Following that disaster, her health began to fail and last October Mr. and Mrs. Cullom came east to spend the winter, in the hope that her health might be improved. For the last two months her condition had been serious. The decedent was born in Fremont, Ill., May 16, 1842, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman H. Kingman. She lived there until she grew to womanhood and after her marriage to Henry C. Cullom made Springfield her home. They moved to Berkeley, Cal., and later to San Francisco. She is survived by her husband and six children, Mrs. G. H. Schimpff and Mrs. George H. Davis of Peoria, Mrs. Charles Kunze, Harry, Garfield and Freeman Cullom of San Francisco. The funeral services will be held at Peoria Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Schimpff. Henry Clay Cullom and Anna M. Kingman had the following children:
