Mr. Coffey retired after 26 years of service from Cannon Paint Company. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. John Barrett. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Lenoir. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Nickolas Greene, Logan Goodwin, David Greer, Tommy Greer, Earl Owens and Johnny Robbins. Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton Robbins and Dayton Robbins. She was born Feb. 14, 1941, in Caldwell County to the late George H. and Nannie Decker Craig. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Coffey was retired from Hickory Springs and a member of Joyceton Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Shufford Coffey of the home; two daughters, Teresa Kincaid and husband Leonard, and Sherry Greene, all of Lenoir; one sister, Grace Greer and husband Jimmy of Lenoir; two grandchildren, Brandy Kincaid and Nickolas Greene; and three great-grand-children, Logan Goodwin, Gauge Goforth, and Colt Hildebran. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Joyceton Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Tom Cornell.
