Charles died in Tennessee on 9 June 1945 and was buried at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin, Warren Co., OH in June 1945 .³⁸²⁸³

Brother Charles Arthur White, son of Thomas and Susan White, was born May 23, 1890, departed this life June 9, 1945 at the age of 55 years, 13 days. He professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Baptist Church at Cedar Springs where he was a member until his death. He married Rachel Wright November 4, 1922. To this union were born three sons, Loyd Thomas, Clarence Benford, and Clyde Everett. Clyde Everett preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, two sons, one step-daughter, five brothers, five sisters, and many other relatives and friends.

He bore his sickness and pain with patience. He ws a good husband and father and a loyal and faithful friend to everyone, always wearing a happy smile. How out hearts ache to know that he is gone forever from us in the lonely world but we knew he has [sic] gone forever from us in this lonely world but we knew he has [sic] gone to Heaven where there is no pain, heartaches, or separations, and nothing but the thought that we will soon be together again forever can reconcile us in his absence.
