Lynchburg - Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Coffey have announced the marriage of their daughter, Helen Dorothy, to Hubert Scott McCormick, USA, son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. McCormick, all of Gladstone, which took place January 25 with the Rev. A. L. Shumate, of Amherst officiating.

Hubert Scott McCormick, son of John Tea McCormick and Annie Louise Stevens, was born on 17 April 1918 in Virginia. Hubert died in Virginia on 21 August 1971 and was buried at Amherst Cemetery in Amherst, Amherst Co., VA in August 1971 .⁴³⁴⁷⁶
