She was born December 4, 1939 in Evanston, WY the daughter of Clifton Durrant and Minnie Peterson. She married Lyle B. Coffey August 31, 1957 in Elko, NV. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple June 26, 1982. Judy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints So. Ogden 6th Ward. She was in the Young Women's Presidency, was the Relief Society Compassionate Service Leader and a dedicated visiting teacher. She was a member of the Union Pacific Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and square dancing. She had a great sense of humor. She is survived by her husband Lyle; children, Steve Coffey (Laura), Mesa, AZ; Scott Coffey (Teri), So. Ogden; Mike Coffey (Chrisan), Alpharetta, GA; Karleene Owens (Roger), Hooper; Ruth Ann Griffiths (Shane), Mesa, AZ; 22 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Delilah Mayhew, SLC; Martin Durrant (Linda), Chandler, AZ; Robert Durrant (Linda), Meridian, ID; Richard Durrant (Joyce), SLC; and Mary Richins, Henefer, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Janette; brothers Sonny and Jerry. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the South Ogden, 6th Ward, 4380 Orchard Ave., with Bishop Clint Wayment officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. and prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
