Coffey, 80, a native of Alabama who had lived fifty-one years in TX, died Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edna Frogge, 835 South Cumberland. Coffey came to Dallas four years ago from Quitman where he had lived thirteen years. He had farmed near Aubrey, Denton County, and near Rising Star, Eastland County. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frogge of Dallas, Mrs. Lyda Sparham of San Antonie and Mrs. T. E. Boswell of Venice, Calif.; four sons, W. M. Coffey of Del Rio, A. L. Coffey of San Antonio, L. T. Coffey of Quitman and B. R. Coffey of Denton; four brothers, W. T. Coffey, W. C. Coffey and J. L. Coffey, all of Alabama, and E. C. Coffey, Dallas; eighteen grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending with Prewitt Funeral Home, 1810 Denley.
