Born in Lynchburg June 6, 1970, he was a son of Francis Andrew Coffey, Jr. of Roseland and Mary Gertrude Hartman Coffey of Elkton. In addition to his parents he is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years, Bonnie Sue Lawhorne Coffey; two sons, Francis Andrew Coffey, IV and Jeremy Wade Coffey, both of Tyro; two brothers, Tony Douglas Coffey of Roseland and Rodney Dean Coffey of Amherst; one sister, Crystal Dawn Coffey of Elkton; a niece, Skylar Daine Coffey, also of Elkton; and a special friend, whom he loved as a son, David Chase Martin (Chubba Bubba) of Tyro. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, in the Lawhorne Family Cemetery on Coxs Creek by Pastor Billy Coffey.
