187. Ananias "Nias" Coffey⁶⁴⁰ was born on 12 May 1785.⁶⁴¹ He appeared in the census on 7 August 1820 in Adair Co., KY.⁶⁴² On 24 January 1827⁶⁴³ On 19 March 1827⁶⁴⁴ Ananias died in Adair Co., KY before 1830.

Ananias "Nias" Coffey and Jane Hindman were married on 28 August 1809 in Green Co., KY.⁶⁴⁵

Jane was the daughter of Alexander Hindman of Green Co., KY. There is some discrepancy about the marriage as well as the birth of Nancy, their first child. See Coffey Cousins' newsletter of Dec. 91, pages 4-5, and Sep., 1992, page 11.

Some researchers place another child, Ananias (born 1846) between Marshall and John David. See Coffey Cousins' newsletter, Dec., 1989, Page 2.
Jane Hindman, daughter of Alexander Hindman and Mary Boyd, was born on 11 June 1781 in Rockcastle Co., KY.⁶⁴⁶ She was associated with in 1830 in Adair Co., KY.⁶⁴⁷ She lived with her son Marshall in Adair Co., KY on 16 August 1850. Jane lived with her daughter Emily Coomer in Columbia, Adair Co., KY on 1 June 1860.
