Hon. Chesley Shelton Coffey died suddenly at Fayette last Monday evening. Mr. Coffey was one of the prominent attorneys in that part of Mississippi.

Chesley was a Captain in Co. C, 2d Mississippi Regiment in the war with Mexico.

A living couple was married in 1887 in Jefferson Co., MS.¹⁰²⁷⁸ Living (private).

Lenard Camille Coffey was born on 31 August 1891 in Jefferson Co., MS. Lenard died in Jefferson Co., MS on 12 July 1893 and was buried at Fayette Cemetery in Fayette, Jefferson Co., MS in July 1893 .
