M. Coffey, Fayette, Miss. Fayette, Miss., Sept. 10.--Mott Coffey, aged 58, a native and life long resident of Fayette, died at his home here Thursday afternoon, after a long illness. He was the son of the late Chesley Coffey, and was a prominent Mason. He is survived by his widow, nee Mamie West, one son, John Coffey, and two young daughters, Misses Eula Belle and Allein Coffey; one sister, Miss Sallie Coffey, of Fayette, and two brothers, Chas. Coffey of Memphis, and Captain E. N. Coffey, U. S. A., now in Salt Lake City. The funeral was held Friday afternoon, with interment in Fayette cemetery, conducted by the Masonic ledge of this place.
