Sarah Ellen Coffey and David S. Vaught were married on 15 October 1890 in Patterson Twp., Caldwell Co., NC.¹⁶⁸⁹⁰ They^{¹⁶⁸⁹⁰} appeared in the census on 29 June 1900 in Johnson Co., TN.¹⁶⁸⁹¹ David S. Vaught, son of John B. Vaught and Rachel Wagner, was born on 6 October 1860 in Johnson Co., TN. David died tuberculosis on 26 June 1915 at the age of 54 in Butler, Johnson Co., TN and was buried at Sugar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Dry Hill, Johnson Co., TN.¹⁶⁸⁹²
