Teinert and Wanda Schneider, was born on 26 March 1920 in Copperas Cove, Coryell Co., TX. Mildred died in Texas on 11 August 2016 and was buried at San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX in August 2016.^{46634,46635,46636}

Mildred Evelyn Teinert Coffey grew up in Copperas Cove, the 6th of 10 children of a family descended from the group of 450 Wends* who settled near Serbin, Texas, seeking religious and cultural freedom.

She came to San Antonio to study at Draughn's Business School in 1938. She met her future husband, Bill Coffey, on February 14th 1939. They were married on September 16th 1939.

Mildred worked for the Special Weapons Division at Kelly Air Force base, where she enjoyed a long and interesting career. Aside from her work and traveling with her family, she valued community involvement, playing active roles in the Daughters of the Nile and other clubs, and more recently, Oak Hills Presbyterian Church.

Mildred lived a life rich in achievement, enriching experiences and love. Her family feels blessed by her loving presence and wisdom. She is survived by her sister Theresa Jane Holditch, brother Willard "Sonny" Teinert, son Mike, daughters Ruth and Scotty, her seven grandchildren (Pat, Kelly, Robin, Lizzie, Cable, Kevin and Abby) and ten great-grandchildren (Nicholas, Patty, Katy, Jillian, Darby, Ridley, Zach, Charlotte, Lucas and Eli).

A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM on September 3, 2016 at Oak Hills Presbyterian Church. If friends desire memorial gifts may be made to the Oak Hills Presbyterian Church.
