Iva Lee Coffey Ward, daughter of Rev. Johnny and Sarah Singleton Coffey, was born Feb. 18, 1922. departed his life Feb. 3, 1944. age 21 years, 11 months and 15 days.

She professed faith in Christ at Chinquepin Baptist Church in Feb., 1933, and later joined the Providence Baptist Church, where she remained a member until death. She loved her church and always filled her seat at church and Sunday School. She was true Christian, never complained of her burdens, in trouble she always wore a smile.

Our home is sad since Iva went away and we miss her so much. She was dearly loved by all. May God help each member of the family and her sweet little girl to make preparations to meet her when this life is over. She is dead, but singing and smiling with the Angels in heaven with Jesus in the mansion he said he would prepare. We miss your dear smiling face, Iva, and long to hear your footsteps that has been silenced. God bless the dust where your body sleeps. She leaves to mourn her one little girl, Alma Ruth Ward, father, mother, five sister and three brothers and a host of friends. Sleep on dear daughter, until the resurrection day morning when we will be reunited again to part no more. Father, mother and sister.
