She is survived by ten children, Cordie Howerton, Rose Greene, Martha Sheets, Bill Greene, Julia Armstrong, Glenn Greene, Edna Ogan, and Bea Greene of West Carrollton, Ohio; Della McCoy of Edison, Tenn., and Joe Greene of the U. S. Army. Joe, who served three years in Hawaii, arrived home about two weeks before his mother's death. The body was transferred to Sneedville. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev.'s Grant Lawson and James Ogan. Burial was in the family cemetery near the old homestead. Coffey Funeral Home in charge. Hattie M. Minutes, 1932 Amos Greene Amos Greene was born November 7, 1872. He departed this life May 16, 1928. He professed faith in Christ at Trent Valley Church at an early age, and later joined the Baptist Church at Pawpaw Grove, where he remained a faithful Christian until his death. He was married to Hattie Coffey April 11, 1895. To this union were born ten children, two preceded him in death. After his death he was brought back and buried in the home cemetery.
