Phyllis Mamie (Coffey) Nulty, 84, widow of Edward Lee Nulty, of Staunton, died Monday, April 30, 2018, at her residence.

She was born April 24, 1934, in Staunton, a daughter of the late John Wallace and Mattie Iveson (Morris) Coffey.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Mae Maclam.

Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Edward and Donna Nulty of Churchville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Audrey and David Kellison of Churchville, Paula and Malcom Monroe of Lyndhurst, and Sandra and Marvin Crosby of Craigsville; grandchildren, Matt and Angela Sutton, Stephen and Laura Sutton, Jason Monroe, Stacy Kellison, Leslie and Ian Boden, Christopher, Justin and Travis Nulty; and twelve great grandchildren; special friend, Virginia Brown; and sister-in-law, Joyce Wolfenbarger.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Greg Kropff.  Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Matthew Sutton, Stephen Sutton, Chris Nulty, Lucian Kellison, Jason Monroe, Ian Boden, Travis Nulty, and Kayden Nulty.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Phyllis Mamie Coffey and Edward Lee Nulty were married. Edward Lee Nulty, son of Hubert Eugene Nulty and Mary Elizabeth Weaver, was born on 5 April 1927 in Staunton, Independent City., VA. Edward died in Charlottesville Co., VA on 15 October 1997 and was buried at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens in Staunton, Independent City., VA in October 1997 .⁴²⁹¹⁶
