PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alonzo D. Zahner, 86, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, Mo. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Alonzo D. Zahner and Lillian L. Mattingly were married on 11 September 1946 in Brewer, Perry Co., MO. Lillian L. Mattingly was born on 27 February 1929 in Perryville, Perry Co., MO. Perryville, Perry Co., MO in September 2009. Lillian died in Perryville, Perry Co., MO on 3 September 2009 and was buried at^41860,41861

BREWER, Mo. -- Lillian L. Zahner, 80, of Brewer died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville. She was born Feb. 27, 1929, at Perryville, daughter of Firman and Stella Gibbar Mattingly.

She and Alonzo D. Zahner were married Sept. 11, 1946, at Brewer. He survives.

Zahner was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ the Savior Parish in Brewer and the Blessed Sacrament Sodality.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Edward Zahner of Republic, Mo.; a daughter, Cathy Werner of Brewer; two sisters, Jean Hunt of Perryville and Agnes Bohnert of Perryville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Zahner, two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, with the Rev. Bill Rhinehart officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
