Sharon Elaine Hawkins Phillips, 67, of Lenoir went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson.

She was born Dec. 20, 1950, in Caldwell County to the late James Bernard Hawkins Sr. and Dorothy Cof fey Hawkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband, Eddie Phillips.

Those left to cherish her memory are a brother, James Bernard Hawkins Jr. and wife Sharon; and two sisters, Pamela Hawkins Greene and husband Dana, and Cynthia Alley and husband Larry, all of Lenoir.
