He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Jane Coffey, and three brothers and sisters, Jesse Jr., Bonnie and Mike. Troy is survived by his best friend and soul mate of 39 yrs., Betty "Charlie" (Slagle) Coffey, children; Kimberly (Robert) Daniel of Indpls., Susan (Mark) Austin, of Lenoir, NC, mother-in-law Ruby Slagle of Indpls., Grandchildren, Robert, Brandi Daniel, David, Samantha, Savanna Austin. Seven brothers and sisters; Robert (Jean) Coffey, of Indpls., James (Libby) Coffey, of Lenoir, NC, Gladys (Dean) Estes, of Lenoir,NC, Paul (Brenda) Coffey, of Lenoir, NC, Roy Coffey of Tenn., Nell (Steve) Coffey of Lenoir, NC, George Coffey of Lenoir, NC, and a large number of nieces and nephews, and extended family, that he thought the world of. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (7-14-04) at 2 p.m. in Flanner & Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center, where friends may call on Wednesday (7-13-04) from 5-8 p.m. (Indy Star) A living couple was married in 1966 in Norton, Wise Co., VA.46073 Living, daughter of Ralph Slagle and Ruby Yeary, was born in 1945 in East Stone Gap, Wise Co., VA.
