He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers. Bob served in the US Army Signal Corp and the Air Force. He was a 30 year employee of Northwestern Bell and AT&T, retiring in 1984. Retirement years were spent woodworking, carving, gardening and creating folk art. Survived by wife, Faye (Laurel); daughters Joan Coffey (Mike Kivley), Sandra (Paul) Mead; son, Steve Coffey (George Stirling); grandchildren Rachel Kivley and Abbey Mead. Funeral services are 2/16/2018 at 1 PM, Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation 1 hour before the service. Interment at Ft. Snelling. Memorials preferred to Allina Hospice in lieu of flowers. The family thanks the staff at Brightondale Memory Care and Allina Hospice for their care of Bob.
