Carl C. Coffey of LaFollette died Monday at U.T. Hospital, Knoxville.

He had been a member of the LaFollette Police Force for 15 years.

Mr. Coffey is survived by his wife, Bobbie Coffey; three sons, Johnny, Jackey and Jimmy; three daughters, Janet Byrd, Janie and Jerri Coffey, all of LaFollette; one grandson, Travis Lee Carl Byrd; two granddaughters, Shawn Ann Coffey and Brandi LeAnn Coffey; and one brother, Kenneth Coffey, LaFollette.

Funeral services were held Friday at Cross Chapel with the Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Members of the LaFollette Police Department and Fire Departments were active and honorary pallbearers.

A living couple was married in 1950 in Campbell Co., TN.⁴⁷⁴⁴⁴ Living was born circa 1933 in Tennessee.
